To all the Movies lovers

               Through this post I would like to contribute little aid towards this society with my program. (Comedy!!)

Yeah. One of the common hobbies of this modern generation is movies collection. It doesn’t matter whether they use or not, but peoples love keeping the movies. Normally we keep our movies in external hard disk. Here the common problem is Duplicates. Particularly if we have huge volume of movies, then identifying all the duplicates is very difficult, horrible and time consuming stuff.

               So usually we ignore the duplicate movies. But it’s a problem when your hard disk storage reaches its limit. Then we have to either cleanup the hard disk or go to the new one. Few peoples like me very stringent on this.

By thinking of this, I have created simple program, which will identify the duplicate files and erase it from the file system. I know such applications already available in the market. But it’s with my own idea, thoughts and not for commercial use. Yeah I can hear your questions. This program is very smart, and absolutely configurable. He will execute only whatever that you request.

               If you say that you are LINUX user then also no issues. Since I have used one of the greatest Platform independent language to implement this. Can work in any platform.

The key configurations of my program are,

1) Parent directory -  from where scan starts

2) List or Delete   -  Asking permission to delete

3) File Extension   -  avi, divx etc

4) Wild Card Input

5) Etc etc

I already tested my program with few of my friends including mine and it’s successfully deletes the duplicate files. But one hard disk alone got screwed up. Fortunately it was not mineJ. But right away I have fixed it. My friends brought back their memory by deleting the duplicates. Apparently it’s huge in size. Remember irrespective of movies, he can handle all the file extensions (Don’t be silly)
